LONDON (Alliance News) - Iodine producer Iofina PLC Friday said it has completed the fourth of its extraction plants based on its wellhead extraction IoSorb technology and the fifth is expected to be completed in March.
In a statement, the company said production from both the new extraction plants is dependent on a final regulatory inspection and approval. The inspection is expected to take place in mid-March.
A sixth extraction plant is scheduled to be completed in the second quarter of the year, it said.
Iofina shares were up 8% at 79.075 pence Friday.
