LONDON (Alliance News) - Invesco Perpetual UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC Thursday said it outperformed the Numis Smaller Companies Index over a three month period, with its net asset value rising by 1.0% on a total return basis, compared to a 0.5% decline in the index.

The table shows that while the trust outperformed the index in the three months ended April 30, it had less luck over the year to that point. Over a three-year period, the trust has marginally outperformed but has seen a smaller increase over five years. However, the return on the trust's share price exceeded the index's gains over all periods shows.
Invesco Perpetual UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust shares were Thursday quoted at 321.93 pence, up 0.4%.
