Invesco Perpetual Enhanced Income Net Asset Value Higher In First Half

LONDON (Alliance News) - Invesco Perpetual Enhanced Income Ltd Monday said its net asset value per share rose in the first half of its financial year.

The fund, which invests in high yield corporate and government bonds, said its net asset value per share rose 4.4% in the six months to the end of March to 78.3 pence, from 74.4 pence at the end of its last financial year in September.

Including dividend payouts, at 1.25 pence per quarter, the total return for the fund in the six months was 8.8%, with its share price having increased by 5.2%.

The fund said high-yield bonds performed well over the period, with the strongest returns coming in the European high yield market.

Shares in the fund were down 0.5% to 74.78 pence on Monday.
