(Alliance News) - Intuitive Investments Group PLC on Friday announced it has invested further into PneumoWave Ltd.
The London-based life sciences investment company has invested an additional GBP100,000 into PneumoWave, a biotechnological research company. The investment forms part of a GBP7.5 million series A fundraising round that PneumoWave expects to close in October.
Intuitive Investments previously invested GBP350,000 in PneumoWave, which represented a 6.6% stake.
PneumoWave continues to develop technology to provide automated data capture, analysis, notification and response management for serious respiratory events, particularly opioid-induced respiratory depression.
Three opioid-focused clinical trials are underway and further trials are due to start before the end of the year.
Shares in Intuitive Investments were untraded at 11.80 pence in London on Friday.
