LONDON (Alliance News) - Intertek PLC said Tuesday Lloyd Pitchford, Chief Financial Officer has resigned from the role, and will leave the company September 30, 2014.
Intertek said Edward Leigh, Group Financial Controller, will replace Pitchford as Chief Financial Officer and join Intertek's Board.
Leigh currently leads the development of the Group's global finance transformation strategy and joined Intertek in March 2013
Upon his departure in September, Pitchford will join Experian PLC as Chief Financial Officer and as an Executive Director.
Before Intertek, Pitchford spent ten years at BG Group plc where he held various senior finance positions, including Group Financial Controller, and seven years at Mobil Oil in financial and commercial roles.
Shares in Intertek were trading marginally higher shortly after the open, up 0.10% at 2,925 pence per share. Experian shares were trading 0.80% higher at 1,135 pence per share.
