LONDON (Alliance News) - Interserve PLC on Tuesday said it has won a GBP35 million contract from Birmingham's Children's Hospital to design and build a clinical facility.
Under the deal, the FTSE 250-listed construction and support services company will design and build the Steelhouse Lane facility, which will provide patient facilities for cancer, haematology and stem cell services.
The project is currently in the design phase and is being built in partnership with BDP, the architect for Birmingham Children's Hospital, and the hospital's clinicians. Work is due to start in early 2016 and is due for completion in 2017.
Shares in Interserve were up 0.3% to 647.50 pence on Tuesday.
