LONDON (Alliance News) - Construction company Interserve PLC announced on Wednesday that it has won a GBP17 million contract with the University of York to construct a three-storey development on the university's Campus East.
Interserve said the construction would contain teaching facilities and learning spaces to be used by the University's International Pathway College which provides academic preparation for international students. It is the company's second contract with the university.
Work has begun on site with project completion due in November 2017.
"We are looking forward to further strengthening our relationship with the University of York as it continues to both expand and renew its facilities" said Interserve Divisional Director John Gittins.
