InternetQ Confident As Revenue, Profits Rise Sharply In 2014

21st Jan 2015 10:10

LONDON (Alliance News) - Mobile marketing firm InternetQ PLC Wednesday expressed confidence in delivering strong revenue and earnings growth in the years ahead, as its revenue rose nearly 27% in 2014 and its adjusted pretax profit rose 61%.

In a trading update, InternetQ said its 2014 revenue was well over EUR130 million, with 79% coming from its mobile marketing segment and 21% from its digital entertainment segment.

Internet Q said its margins improved in the second half of the year, helping its adjusted pretax profit increase to EUR14 million, from EUR8.7 million in 2013. Adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation rose to over EUR22 million.

The company had cash of over EUR12 million at the end of 2014, and said this provides it with "sufficient capacity to support future growth."

InternetQ said that its mobile marketing division is continuing to benefit from positive market trends as global smartphone adoption helps drive demand for mobile advertising. It performed strongly in Latin America, it said, with four new campaigns in its pipeline expected to start in the coming month.

Its digital entertainment division is benefiting from agreements with mobile network operators and device manufacturers, the company added.

InternetQ is scheduled to announce its full year results on March 31.

Shares in InternetQ are trading up 8.4% at 289.50 pence Wednesday morning.
