International Public Partnerships Beats Target With Fundraising (ALLISS)

14th Jul 2016 06:46

LONDON (Alliance News) - International Public Partnership Ltd on Thursday said it has raised GBP125.0 million in its share placing, having previously said it was looking to raise GBP75.0 million.

INPP said it had issued 83.6 million shares at 149.50 pence per share. Shares in INPP closed at 151.50p on Wednesday in London.

INPP said the placing was oversubscribed, with demand from existing and new investors.

The shares are expected to be admitted to trading next Monday.

"The oversubscription of our latest fundraising demonstrates the continued attractiveness of the company's investment case. Our enhanced corporate debt facility has again allowed us to be agile and competitive in originating and acquiring infrastructure assets core to our portfolio. Today's close is another sign of confidence in the company's pipeline and we look forward to deploying the net proceeds to help deliver predictable, low-risk and long-term returns to our shareholders," said Chairman Rupert Dorey.
