LONDON (Alliance News) - International Public Partnerships Ltd on Wednesday said the Amber Consortium has reached financial close on the final of five privately financed batches of schools under the Priority Schools Building Programme in the UK.
The infrastructure project investor said the fifth tranche of funding will back the development and operation of seven new-build secondary schools in Yorkshire over 25 years. The total spend on the batch is around GBP129.0 million, with Amber to provide GBP118.0 million.
INPP will fund GBP5.1 million, with partners the European Investment Bank and Aviva PLC to fund the rest.
INPP shares were down 0.2% to 145.21 pence.
