Intercede Quarterly Revenue Doubles On Year Before, Outlook Positive

6th Jul 2015 07:41

LONDON (Alliance News) - Cybersecurity company Intercede Group PLC on Monday said its revenue in the first quarter doubled year-on-year and said its trading has given it a solid base to meet market expectations for the full year.

Intercede said its revenue in the first quarter of its financial year to the end of June was GBP2.7 million, double the amount it made a year earlier and up by 34% on the fourth quarter of its 2015 financial year.

It has been boosted by an enlarged sales and marketing team and secured a major contract with a US healthcare company in the quarter, along with a deal with a US federal agency and a deal with a US West Coast-based bank.

Intercede expects these deals to provide revenue for this year and future years and said its first quarter performance underpins the likelihood it will meet market expectations for the year.

Shares in Intercede were up 6.9% to 101.00 pence on Monday morning.
