LONDON (Alliance News) - Intercede Group PLC said Tuesday that it has launched a service called MyTAM which will allow companies to load applications on to ARM Holdings PLC's joint venture Trustonic's 'Trusted Execution Environment' on devices using the Android operating system.
This Trusted Execution Environment is a self-contained operating system separated by hardware from the main operating system on a device, providing protection for applications that handle sensitive data.
The MyTAM cloud service securely loads applications into this area.
"With the Trustonic TEE built into more than 250 million devices, the addressable market for the Intercede MyTAM service is large and growing," said Chief Executive Officer Richard Parris in a statement.
Shares in Intercede are untraded Tuesday at 102.00 pence Tuesday morning.
