(Alliance News) - Intelligent Ultrasound Group PLC on Thursday said it will collaborate with the National Imaging Academy Wales to develop artificial intelligence tools for ultrasound education.
Shares in Intelligent Ultrasound were up 15% at 12.35 pence in midday trade.
The ultrasound software and simulation company is developing artificial intelligence-based clinical ultrasound software to improve the quality of scans and of workflow and will work with NIAW, which provides specialist training. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
Intelligent Ultrasound Chief Executive Stuart Gall said: "We are delighted to be working with National Imaging Academy Wales. The opportunity to combine Intelligent Ultrasound's AI development and commercialisation skills with the Academy's clinical excellence is very exciting for us and will allow us to continue our development as one of the world's leading ultrasound AI companies.
