(Alliance News) - Medical training software firm Intelligent Ultrasound Group PLC has appointed Helen Jones as finance director, it said Tuesday.
Jones will join on January 1, replacing Wilson Jennings, who departs on the same day.
Jones is a chartered accountant, Cardiff-based Intelligent Ultrasound said, who was most recently financial controller at an AIM-quoted firm, which it didn't name. Before that, she worked at Tata Steel Europe.
Non-Executive Chair Riccardo Pigliucci said: "The board is very much looking forward to welcoming Helen to the team in the New Year. We are sure that her strong commercial and technical background will benefit the company going forward.
"We would also like to thank Wilson for his valuable contribution since joining the group ahead of our IPO in 2014 and we wish him well for the future in his semi-retirement. Wilson has been an integral part of our team and he will be missed by the management and staff alike."
On Monday, Intelligent Utrasound said the UK taxman would be seeking repayment of tax credits granted to the firm between 2013 and 2016.
Shares were untraded on Tuesday afternoon in London, last quoted at 9.20 pence each.
