(Alliance News) - Integumen PLC on Monday said it has signed a commercial and artificial intelligence development partnership with Acumen Software Pty Ltd of South Africa focused on industrial production and wastewater utility clients.
Shares in Integumen were down 3.8% at 1.66 pence in London in afternoon trading.
Integumen makes Labskin, a human-like skin which is used for product testing, as well as data aggregation, refining and artificial intelligence analysis through Rinodrive. Its head office is in Dublin.
The aim of the alliance is "to create a combined offering of Acumen's integrated mobile asset and management software platform with Rinodrive's data analytics, data refining capabilities and RAWTestTM AI real-time water monitoring service."
This marks the first of RAWTest's commercial agreements for industrial production and wastewater utility clients and is expected to make a "material contribution" to 2020 revenue. The combined offering will roll out across Integumen and Acumen's partners in Australasia, North and South America, and Asia.
Integumen Chief Executive Gerard Brandon said: "We are delighted to have entered into this commercial and RAWTestTM AI development partnership with Acumen who have a sales, marketing and distribution channel directly into government municipal and utility enterprises established over the last 12 years on four continents. This keeps with our global growth strategy of collaborating with complementary products and services into top local and international channel partners with a strong sales track record."
