(Alliance News) - Integrated Diagnostics Holdings PLC said on Wednesday many of its operations are deemed essential, meaning they can stay open during lockdowns.
The consumer healthcare business has operations in Egypt, Jordan, Sudan, and Nigeria.
In Egypt, a curfew between 1900 and 0600 local time has gone into effect for 14 days starting on Wednesday. All of IDHC's branches can stay open, though within the hours permitted by the curfew. Egypt is the firm's largest market, making up around 86% of revenue.
Jordan now has a 24-hour curfew that bans citizens leaving the house for any reason whatsoever.
IDHC has 19 branches in the country, of which 17 are now shut. One has special permission to stay open but can only perform Covid-19 testing, while the other is inside a hospital. Jordan makes up 12% of revenue.
Lastly, in Sudan, a curfew began on Tuesday between 2000 and 0600 local time. This is indefinite, IDHC added.
All branches remain open as they are deemed essential services, though again, they will now have reduced hours to meet the curfew hours. Sudan makes up 1.5% of revenue.
IDHC gave no update on Nigerian operations.
Shares were flat in afternoon trade in London on Wednesday at USD3.16 each.
