LONDON (Alliance News) - Inspirit Energy Holdings PLC on Monday said it has signed a new testing an field trial agreement with energy company and fellow AIM listing Utilitywise PLC.
Inspirit said the deal would accelerate the introduction of its Stirling Engine-based micro-CHP products across Europe. The agreement covers testing of Inspirit's m-CHP appliance in several sites in the UK.
"Partnering with Utilitywise will allow Inspirit Energy to trial its technology in a range of SME and other installations, validate the mCHP product, and demonstrate its cost saving capabilities. This will help accelerate the move to volume manufacturing over the next 12 months," said Inspirit Chief Executive Officer John Gunn.
Shares in Inspirit were down 7.0% to 1.0 pence on Monday. Utilitywise shares were up 0.9% to 291.50 pence.
