LONDON (Alliance News) - Inspirit Energy Holdings PLC Wednesday said that its operation centre in Sheffield is now defining its product introduction plans for its energy efficient micro combined heat-and-power appliance, known as the mCHP boiler.

The company, which invests in renewable energy through the development of environmental or renewable energy products and services, said that it is expecting to see the boilers, developed for use in commercial and residential markets, installed in key customer sites in the first half of next year. It said it has volume production targeted for the end of next year.

"Inspirit is seeing solid industry interest for the Company's unique heat and power generation product now that working capital has been raised to launch the commercialisation phase of product development," said Chief Executive Officer, John Gunn, in a statement.

Inspirit Energy Holdings shares were down 1.2% or 0.03 pence mid morning Wednesday, trading at 2.57 pence per share.
