LONDON (Alliance News) - Inspired Energy PLC Chairman Bob Holt said Thursday the group has seen significant growth and developments in all of its divisions during the first five months of the year.
In a statement released ahead of its annual general meeting Thursday, the energy procurement and management company said that notable successes during the period include integration of its recent acquisitions, Simply Business Energy and KWH Consulting, along with the continuation of rapid growth in its corporate order book.
The company said its Corporate division has increased its order book by 11% to GBP12.2 million at May 31 from GBP11.0 million on December 31 due to an increase in sales rates, with its order book looking very good for future sales.
Inspired Energy added that its Small and Medium Enterprise division also has performed well with like-for-like contract sales, excluding the impact of the recently acquired Simply and KWH businesses, increasing to GBP1.1 million, driven by an increase in headcount, the introduction of new products, and an increase in operational efficiency.
"In conclusion, the group has continued to grow strongly and develop its services, skills and infrastructure. We look forward to a highly successful 2014," Holt was scheduled to tell the meeting.
Inspired Energy shares were up 7.4% to 12.75 pence Thursday.
