LONDON (Alliance News) - Medical devices company Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC on Wednesday said its financial year has started well, with new distribution deals signed and progress made on integrating acquisitions.
Inspiration Healthcare Chief Executive Neil Campbell, in a statement ahead of the firm's annual general meeting, said the company has renewed two distribution agreements in the financial year, to the end of January, so far.
Inspiration has signed a one-year rolling agreement with Atom, the largest incubators manufacturer in Japan, which gives Inspiration the exclusive rights to sell a range of Atom products used in neonatal intensive care units in the UK.
In addition, Inspiration has signed a five-year deal with EPMC Pharma for the sale of its sucrose products in the UK and Ireland. EPMC makes Algopedol, an aqueous sterile oral solution used to reduce neonatal pain.
Those deals were both announced earlier this month.
Campbell added the integration of Inditherm assets, following Inspiration's reverse takeover of the business in 2015, has positioned the business well and the chief executive expects further expansion opportunities to emerge given Inspiration's strong balance sheet.
