(Alliance News) - Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC on Friday said it has received an additional order from the UK National Health Service to supply medical equipment and ventilators to help with the coronavirus pandemic.
The medical technology company said it is working with suppliers from various countries to fulfil delivery of the order which is worth over GBP4 million.
This comes after Inspiration Healthcare on Monday said it received an order worth GBP1.3 million from the Department of Health & Social Care for the supply of ventilators to deal with the Covid-19 outbreak.
"I'm delighted that Inspiration Healthcare has been able to benefit from our commercial relationships with critical care equipment manufacturers and source such large quantities of this very specialist equipment, working closely with the DHSC to find solutions during this difficult time, said Chief Executive Neil Campbell.
"In this fast-changing situation we remain subject to a large number of factors which are outside of our control but confident that we will continue to provide solutions going forward," he added.
The stock was trading 7.9% higher at 68.00 pence each on Friday afternoon in London.
