(Alliance News) - Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC said Wednesday it has chosen Financial Controller Jonathan Ballard to become chief financial officer with effect on July 1.
He will be replacing Mike Briant, who will be retiring from his role at the medical technology firm after four years in the role since September. Briant will remain with the company during a handover period that will end in November.
Ballard has been part of Crawley, UK-based Inspiration Healthcare for three years since 2017. Prior to that, he was an accounting manager at medical products developer CR Bard Inc.
"On behalf of the entire board, I would like to thank Mike for his contribution to the company over the past three and a half years. I am also pleased that in Jon Ballard we have developed a strong successor to Mike. Jon has been with the business as group financial controller for over three years and, along with the rest of the board, I look forward to working with him as CFO in the coming years," said Chief Executive Officer Neil Campbell.
Shares in Inspiration Healthcare were down 2.5% at 71.65 pence on Wednesday in London.
