Inspiration Healthcare Gets Medical Workstations Contract In Sri Lanka

20th Jan 2020 12:08

(Alliance News) - Inspiration Healthcare Group PLC said Monday it has received an order from the Ministry of Health of Sri Lanka for the supply of 15 HIE workstations.

The medical technology company said its HIE workstations are used for diagnosing and treating Hypoxic-Ischaemic Encephalopathy, a brain injury caused by oxygen deprivation to the brain in the newborn.

Inspiration Healthcare said the Workstations comprise of the Unique+ CFM, cerebral function monitors for diagnosing brain injury and the Tecotherm Neo, used to cool and warm babies who have suffered from a lack of oxygen at the time of birth.

The products are used in neonatal intensive care setting, the company noted.

"The company had been working on this order for a long time and its receipt does not alter the financial expectations of the company for the current year which remain in line with current forecasts," Inspiration Healthcare said.

Neil Campbell, chief executive officer, said: "We are delighted to have received this sizeable order from the Sri Lankan Ministry of Health for the Workstations meaning an ever-growing presence for Inspiration Healthcare across international markets."

"It also demonstrates clearly the quality of our products and our International distribution partners who are opening up these new opportunities," Campbell said.

Inspiration Healthcare shares were flat in London at 67.00 pence each on Monday.
