LONDON (Alliance News) - Satellite communications company Inmarsat PLC said Friday that it has granted approval for the use of Skyware Technologies Ltd's ATOM 99 terminal over its new high-speed broadband service Global Xpress.
The terminal has a 99 centimetre diameter receiver dish, and is intended for quick deployment to deliver broadband access to any location.
"The Atom 99 completes Skyware's offering of fixed and flyaway terminals for Inmarsat's Global Xpress satellite service," said Chief Executive Officer of Skyware Technologies Oliver Kroner in a statement.
Shares in Inmarsat were down 0.2% at 1,003.00 pence Friday morning.
