LONDON (Alliance News) - Inland Homes PLC on Thursday said South Buckinghamshire District Council has adopted the Supplementary Planning Document for the Wilton Park development in Beaconsfield, paving the way for the planning application to be made.
Inland said the adoption of the document comes after two years of work involving it, the district council's planning team and Buckinghamshire County Council.
The company said the draft document provides more detail on the principles that will lead the redevelopment of Wilton Park, where Inland is planning to build up to 350 new homes. The development is to include a community building, sports pitches, a park and other open space, along with improved transport infrastructure and additional school places.
"We are delighted that the adoption of the Wilton Park SPD has been approved. This paves the way for a planning application to be made in the near future which will add significant value for all stakeholder," said Stephen Wicks, Inland's Chief Executive.
Shares in Inland were up 1.95% to 66.9 pence in early trade on Thursday.
