LONDON (Alliance News) - Infrastrata PLC on Monday said it has promoted Non-Executive Director Arun Raman to the role of chief financial officer with immediate effect.
In addition, Infrastrata has appointed Malcolm Groat as a non-executive director likewise with immediate effect.
The AIM-listed gas storage company said Groat has worked for many years as a consultant to companies in technology, natural resources, and general commerce, and roles currently include Baronsmead Second Venture Trust PLC and Tomco Energy PLC.
"As we progress to the construction stage of the project it is essential that we have the right team in place for this phase of the company's evolution. Malcolm brings with him a wealth of experience that will add value to the business from day one," said Interim Chair John Wood.
"Having worked with Arun since he joined the board it is fantastic that he will now be moving into an executive position," added Wood.
Infrastrata shares were trading 5.0% lower on Monday at 0.82 pence each.
