LONDON (Alliance News) - Events and publishing company Informa PLC on Friday said it sold its Life Sciences Media Brands Portfolio to US-based medical communications firm MJH Associates, for "just over" USD100 million.
The portfolio was previously part of business-to-business multimedia firm UBM PLC, with which the FTSE 100 firm merged in June.
The disposal is part of Informa's portfolio management strategy, which aims to "increase the focus on businesses and brands with strong market positions in core verticals", it said.
The transaction does not include the CBI events business, which has been combined with the branded Life Sciences business within the Knowledge & Networking Division of Informa.
