(Alliance News) - Drug maker Indivior PLC on Monday said Chair Howard Pien will be taking a leave of absence for medical reasons.
The Slough-headquartered company said its senior independent director, Daniel Tasse, will act as interim chair while Pien is away. Tasse joined the Indivior board in 2014 and became senior independent director in 2016. He is a member of the company's audit and remuneration committees, as well as the company's special committee.
"In considering Mr Tasse's appointment as interim chair, the board took into account his deep understanding of the pharmaceuticals sector and Indivior's business and his confirmation that he is able to devote sufficient time to the role," said Indivior.
Shares in Indivior were down 3.3% at 69.50 pence in London on Monday morning.
