LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent Resources PLC on Thursday said it has signed a deal with Scotforth Ltd to carry out a remote sensing hydrocarbon survey at the Ksar Hadada permit in Tunisia.
Independent Resources says the survey is set to take around six weeks and should provide a better understanding of the hydrocarbon resource at the permit, therefore aiding the process of securing a farm-out partner.
"We are excited to have entered into this agreement with Scotforth, and we are looking forward to working with them, seeing the results of their survey and sharing those results with potential farm-in partners," said Greg Coleman, Independent Resources' chief executive.
Shares in Independent Resources were up 21% to 0.668 pence on the news, one of the best performers in the AIM All-Share in mid-morning trade.
