LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent Resources PLC on Wednesday said a meeting of the Consultative Commission on Hydrocarbons in Tunisia last week approved the extension of the Ksar Hadada permit.
The permit has been extended until August 6, 2017, the oil and gas company said, adding that it continues to progress discussions with potential farm-in partners to fund planned activities on the licence.
"This extension increases the time available to potential farm-in partners to complete exploration programme commitments and we will continue our discussions with them in order to prepare to meet our work obligations," Chief Executive Greg Coleman said in a statement.
Independent Resources shares were trading down 5.3% at 0.0899 pence on Wednesday morning.
