LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent Resources PLC said Tuesday is continuing to progress farm-out talks for its interest in the Ksar Hadada licence onshore Tunisia.
A number of third parties have expressed interest, Independent said, and are currently evaluating the opportunity. It noted that the economics of the Ksar Hadada licence are "robust at today's lower oil prices and would still remain favourable at prices below USD40 per barrel."
Additionally, it said the current oil price environment has raised a number of potential investment opportunities which it "actively reviewing".
Shares in Independent Resources trading down 4.6% at 1.55 pence Tuesday morning.
