LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent Oil and Gas PLC on Tuesday said it has received confirmation from the Oil and Gas Authority that the skipper licence P1609 has been extended by three months to March 30.
"We continue to make excellent progress and are on track to drill the Skipper appraisal well early next year. Once the well is drilled we will progress to the next phase of the licence and move headlong into field development planning. We will continue to update shareholders and the market at the appropriate time," Chief Executive Mark Routh said following the company's annual general meeting on Tuesday.
Shares in Independent Oil and Gas closed up 23.7% at 15.77 pence on Tuesday.
