LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent Oil and Gas PLC Wednesday said that it currently undertaking a "marketing exercise" with the aim of raising additional capital.
The North Sea focused oil and gas company was responding to media speculation regarding a potential fundraising by the company.
In a short statement, the company Wednesday, after the market close, confirmed its plans to raise additional capital, and said that it will make further announcements "as and when appropriate".
The company's stock closed 9.7% lower Wednesday at 14.00 pence.
