LONDON (Alliance News) - Irish newspaper and media group Independent News & Media PLC on Tuesday said revenue has increased in the first ten months of 2015, the first time this has happened for eight years, with profit performance in line with its expectations.
The company said total group revenue rose 1.1% in the first ten months of the year. Total advertising revenue growth hit 3.7%, as a 44% rise in digital advertising sales offset a 1.2% decline in publishing advertising revenue.
Circulation revenue declined 3.2% in the first ten months, though the pace of the decline has slowed over the course of the year, Independent News said.
The group said it looks set to meet its profit expectations for 2015.
