LONDON (Alliance News) - Independent Investment Trust PLC said Wednesday its net asset value per share rose by 7.9% in the six-months to the end of May on the back of increase in fair value of investments, particularly holdings in travel and leisure focused companies.
The company posted net asset value per share of 658.6 pence, up from 610.2p recorded at the end of November 2017.
Net asset value total return in the half-year was 9%, while the total return to the FTSE All-Share Index and the FTSE World Index were 6.7% and 3.7%, respectively.
Independent Investment Trust shares were trading down 1.7% at 764.68p each.
