LONDON (Alliance News) - Car distributor and retailer Inchcape PLC on Thursday said revenue has increased in 2016 to date, on both a total and like-for-like basis from a year before.
Group revenue for the four months to the end of April was GBP2.47 billion, up 13% in total and 12% on a like-for-like basis.
The group registered strong like-for-like revenue growth in Australasia, the UK, South Asia and its emerging markets operations, all of which more than offset a decline in like-for-like revenue in North Asia.
The company said trading so far in 2016 has met its expectations, and it continues to anticipate a solid constant currency revenue performance for the full year.
"Our strong revenue performance in the first four months of the year is consistent with our expectation for continued momentum across our global portfolio of Distribution and Retail markets," said Chief Executive Stefan Bomhard.
