IN BRIEF: Zoo Digital launches remote automated dialogue replacement

8th Mar 2021 14:02

Zoo Digital Group PLC - London-based provider of cloud-based localisation and digital distribution services - Launches remote automated dialogue replacement service to make ADR "seamless and more cost-effective" both now and in a post-pandemic environment. Notes ADR is the process of re-recording original dialogue after the filming process, to improve the audio quality or to make changes to the originally scripted dialogue. Expects demand for recording capacity to increase "significantly" when new productions fully resume. Says its virtual ADR stage will offer additional recording capacity to physical studios and will be "crucial" to help keep production schedules on track.

"The launch of our dedicated remote ADR service is a clear demonstration of Zoo Digital's commitment to research & development and positions the business as a leading provider of end-to-end services to the entertainment industry in an expanding global market. Our team has built this new platform to deliver the most robust remote ADR service and support the rapidly changing requirements of our industry beyond the Covid-19 pandemic," says Chief Executive Stuart Green.
