IN BRIEF: WANdisco Confident On Future Despite Revenue Plunge In 2020

6th Jan 2021 15:06

WANdisco PLC - Sheffield-based data-management software company - Expects revenue for 2020 to be at least USD10.5 million, down 35% from USD16.2 million in 2019. Says the reduction is a result of some customers delaying their LiveData Platform for Azure purchase decision to wait for the availability of metered billing. Notes, however, that following the successful launch of the LiveData Platform for Azure and the introduction of metered billing, it has entered 2021 with strong momentum. It adds it has continued to grow and convert its pipeline of opportunities with Azure and Amazon Web Services in the last quarter of 2020. As at result, it expects revenue in 2021 to be at least USD35 million.
