Vodafone Group PLC - FTSE 100 telecommunications company based in Berkshire - Announces Vodafone UK Chief Executive Nick Jeffrey will leave the company for a different role on February 15, 2021 and will be replaced by Ahmed Essam, who has been chief commercial operations & strategy officer since 2018. Essam joined the company in 1999 and has served as CEO of the Europe Cluster and Vodafone Egypt, and commercial director for the company's Africa, Middle East & Asia Pacific region.
Vodafone says Alex Froment-Curtil will take on the role of chief commercial officer effective February 1, 2021. He joined the company in 2003 and worked as the company's CEO in Hungary, Egypt and Turkey.
