Vodafone Group PLC - Berkshire, England-based telecommunications company - Launches three cash tender offers for total USD5.4 billion in notes due in 2038, 2043 and 2048. For the notes due May 2038, Vodafone offers to tender USD1.0 billion in 5.0% notes; for the notes due February 2048, it offers to tender USD1.4 billion in 4.375% notes; and for the notes due May 2048, it offers to tender USD3.0 billion in 5.25% notes. Says the tender offers are to be used for managing its outstanding debt portfolio.
