10th Feb 2022 15:23

Velocys PLC - Oxford, England-based sustainable fuels technology - Chief Financial Officer Andrew Morris plans to leave the company during the second quarter of 2022 "to pursue other career opportunities". Morris joined Velocys in 2017 as a non-executive director, taking over as CFO in 2018. As well, Heinz Robota will retire as vice president for technology, after 10 years at Velocys, replaced by Dawid Duvenhage, who joined the company back in November with responsibility for Velocys's catalysis division.

Hires Andy Bensley as global head of business development & technology delivery. Bensley comes with 35 years of senior-level experience, Velocys says, including at US engineering firm Bechtel Corp and UK oil major Shell PLC.
