Vela Technologies PLC - Bradford, England-based investment company focused on early-stage technology companies - Notes subscription for GBP300,000 in shares in AQSE-listed medical device firm TruSpine Technologies PLC on Friday last week, made on Vela's behalf as part of a placing conducted by TruSpine.
Vela confirms that it was considering a potential investment in TruSpine, but had not formally agreed to make an investment. The company is making enquires from all parties involved in the placing, and is also minded to pursue an investment of GBP300,000 into TruSpine, which would increase its stake to around 5%.
Current stock price: 0.028 pence, down 8.0%
