Vaalco Energy Inc - Africa and Canada-focused energy company - Explains that its production in Gabon is entirely offshore and thus all of its operations are continuing as normal, despite a military coup being declared in the country.
A group of Gabonese soldiers appeared on television on Wednesday and announced they were "putting an end to the current regime" and the cancelling an election that, according to official results, President Ali Bongo Ondimba won.
