Umuthi Healthcare Solutions PLC - technology-led healthcare - The UK Financial Conduct Authority says on Thursday that Umuthi shares were suspended from trading early Wednesday "to protect investors, following the publication of incorrect information by the issuer that the FCA believes may mislead investors". The regulator gives no further details and refers questions to Umuthi, which has issued no statement about the share suspension.
The South African firm, which distributes pharmaceuticals and provides medical facilities in remote areas, had only just started trading on the London Main Market last week. The stock listed at 30.00 pence apiece, spiked to 160.00p on Monday and then fell to 86.00p on Tuesday before being suspended on Wednesday.
