IN BRIEF: Triple Point Energy acquires three assets for GBP20 million

Triple Point Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Co PLC - investment firm - Acquires three operational, Feed in Tariff accredited, hydroelectric power projects in Scotland for GBP19.6 million in total.

The three assets have a total installed capacity of 2.5 megawatts, and all have at least five years of operational performance history.

"I am pleased that TEEC has been able to acquire these three remaining hydro assets, shortly following the acquisition of the initial six Hydro Assets. Following this acquisition, the company has now substantially deployed the net proceeds from the IPO and we look forward to updating the market in due course with further information on the company and its pipeline of attractive investment opportunities," says Chair John Roberts.
