Tintra PLC - Windsor, Berkshire-based firm building banking and infrastructure technology systems - Says it has filed a further UK patent application to protect intellectual property created as part of its rapid research and development programme. The newly filed invention extends the company's previous application, GB2208742.3, which related to the linking of regulated and unregulated digital wallets when there is established common ownership, particularly in the context of Web 3.0.
Chief Executive Officer Richard Shearer says: "The resulting 500-page Go-Forward Plan has since then been used to build an action strategy against required deliverables. It is that document that informs the view we have taken about our next funding round. We expected at this stage to still be in a discovery phase, however we have progressed to a point where we now have hit key indicators in our road map earlier than anticipated. These include patent filings, our first major banking licence award being in clear view along with the better than expected first steps in our UK pre-application process.
"Yesterday an internal all-hands meeting discussed the results of these processes and as such we are during this month planning to finalise an investor pack to seek investment based on these new fundamentals."
