Thor Mining PLC - projects in Australia and US focused on copper, gold, uranium and vanadium - Notes the start of drilling at Kapunda copper project in South Australia. Says EnviroCopper Ltd has begun a coiled tube drilling programme at Kapunda. Thor holds a 30% stake in EnviroCopper. Notes that the programme will be carried out with MinEx CRC, a collaboration between mining companies, government and research organisation. "The drilling is designed to trial technological advancements using a safer, environmentally friendly mining technology with a low footprint," the company adds.

Current stock price: 0.99 pence, up 13% on Friday

Year-to-date change: up 25%
