Thor Energy PLC - London-based uranium and vanadium explorer - Says airborne magnetic, radiometric surveys begin in its wholly owned uranium and vanadium projects within the Uravan mineral belt in Colorado and Utah, US. The surveys are at Wedding Bell, Radium Mountain and Vanadium King, and are being carried out to identify potential extensions of mineralisation. Expects work to continue for the next six weeks.
This comes after Thor confirmed there was vanadium mineralisation at Wedding Bell and Radium Mountain last month.
Managing Director Nicole Galloway says: "We are pleased to announce the commencement of these high-resolution aeromagnetic and radiometric surveys, across all three of Thor's 100% owned uranium and vanadium projects. The data set will expedite our exploration programs, with any significant anomalies to be "ground checked" and prioritised for drill testing."
