Tharisa PLC - Cyprus-headquartered platinum miner - Detects "unauthorised" activity on its network but says operations remain unaffected, "supported by established business continuity processes". Cybersecurity and forensic specialists are working "around-the-clock" with in-house IT team to bring the affected systems back online, it says.
Tharisa says it is in the process of informing the relevant authorities about the cybersecurity incident. "Investigations into the incident are ongoing and we are committed to notifying all relevant stakeholders promptly as and when material developments arise, in line with our legal and regulatory obligations," it says.
