IN BRIEF: Taseko Mines production in Gibraltar declines in 2021

Taseko Mines Ltd - British Columbia, Canada-based copper producer - For 2021, copper production from the Gibraltar mine stands at 112 million pounds, with sales at 105 million pounds.

In 2020, the Gibraltar mine produced 123 million pounds of copper.

Meanwhile, molybdenum output and sales for the year was 2.0 million pounds, down from 2.3 million the year before.

"Despite major disruption to the highway and rail infrastructure in southern BC from severe rainstorms in November, we were still able to realize 24 million pounds of copper sales in the fourth quarter. Transit times for rail shipments are gradually improving and we expect to reduce copper inventories at Gibraltar in the first quarter of 2022," said Chief Executive Officer Stuart McDonald.

Current stock price: 150.72 pence, down 4.3% on Thursday
